After the purchase of several Kinshofer products in 2017 and early 2018, Rigter Handelsonderneming has now again been chosen to deliver.
This time there is a 3000 liter orange peel grab delivered to skip waste stone.
It concerns type P120VHD-3000 with semi-closed scales.
This orange peel grab has also been adjusted in the workshop in Eemnes to extend the lifespan and tool life.
The shells are reinforced on the side with round manganese steel and the points are welded with hard wire.

There is now a total of 4 rolls of welding wire on the points and the sides of the scales.
This will extend the tool life in the stones. Without this adjustment, the hardoxx scales will also wear very quickly.
The Norwegian stones that are processed by Martens en van Oord at the project in Kaliningrad are very sharp,
we already had that experience for other customers in these stones such as Boskalis.
