For Heros Kraanverhuur, Rigter Handelsonderneming was allowed to think along and help to realize the pre-loading of the tunnel.
The tunnel is dug under water, but when they would pump it dry, the floor would rise due to the groundwater and the soil pressure.

Heros Kraanverhuur was asked for steel road plates to be placed on the bottom, a total of 900 tons per tunnel container.
Rigter Handelsonderneming has been able to supply two powerpacks and two adapted road plate grabs.

The adapted road plate grabs can now lay 10 to 12 tons of road plates at a time and place them in special frames on the bottom of the tunnel container. Divers check on the spot whether the positioning is correct.
